To appoint a contractor to clear the land at the Glebe Cemetery to enable the survey to take place
To approve the expenditure to replace the two PC’s
To appoint a weed spraying contractor for the 2023/24 financial year.

Councillors May, Harrison and Williams declared a non-registrable interest in agenda item 12 – Accounts – 1 September to 30 September 2022, as they are members of Penryn Federation, who supplied and were paid for providing teas on Fair Day.
No requests had been received from members of the public wishing to speak at the meeting
RESOLVED that minute numbers 56 to 88 of the meeting of the Council held on 3 October 2022 be approved and signed as a correct record.

The minutes of the Falmouth and Penryn Community Network Panel held on Tuesday 27 September 2022 were noted
The Finance Officer reported;
The mayor’s announcements and engagements for the period 3 October to 13 November 2022 was noted.
In the absence of the Cornwall Council member the Finance Officer reported on their behalf that three people have volunteered for the Community speed watch group so far.
The Town Clerk’s report was noted.
Having earlier in the meeting declared a non-registrable interest Councillors May, Harrison and Williams did not take place in the debate or the vote.

There were three requests for community grants from Penryn Football Club Women’s Team, Penryn and District Twinning Association and Fish Factory Arts CIC.
It was RESOLVED that, in accordance with sections 1-8 of Part 1 of the Localism Act 2011 (General Power of Competence), a grant of £300 is awarded towards the cost of new kit and equipment.

It was RESOLVED that, in accordance with sections 1-8 of Part 1 of the Localism Act 2011 (General Power of Competence), a grant of £300 be awarded to assist with the association’s costs.

It was RESOLVED that, in accordance with sections 1-8 of Part 1 of the Localism Act 2011 (General Power of Competence), a grant of £300 towards the costs to help with creating a warm heated space.

RESOLVED that Robbie’s Garden Services are appointed as the contractor to clear the additional land at the Glebe Cemetery for a cost of £1,600.00.
