Fair Day 2023

The annual Town fair was held on Saturday 26 August, turnout on the day was good with good music, children’s entertainment and stalls.

The day started at 12:30pm at the stone on Quay Hill commemorating the Prayer Book Rebellion, followed by short parade to Fish Cross where the Fair was officially opened by the Grand bard Pol Hodge.

There was lots to do depending on your interests, events included:

  • Exhibition of photography by Penryn Camera Club
  • Ritchie the Raptor
  • Music
  • Children’s Rides
  • Stalls
  • Bingo
  • Cornish Wrestling
  • Classic Cars

The Town Council would like to say a big thank-you to the Events Committee who arranged the event, all the helpers that made the day enjoyable for visitors and to all the stallholders/entertainers/clubs that took part – we couldn’t do it without you!
